Qualifications

• Experience with fish cutting, slicing, and filleting is desirable.
• Ability to read recipes and follow production procedures.
• Adaptable, hard-working and able to take directions in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Expertly cut, slice, and fillet different types of fish.
• Inspect fruits, vegetables, and fish quality for dishes.
• Maintain a clean work environment to prevent contamination.
• Read recipes and memorize production procedures.
• Stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and use kitchen equipment.
• Communicate with wait staff to accommodate special requests and allergies.
• Operate hot/cold equipment and understand breakdown and cleaning.
