Job summary

Rock N Roll Sushi is hiring a kitchen staff member to help run a fast-paced kitchen and support the team with a variety of tasks, from prep to cleaning. The role emphasizes adaptability, reliability, and the ability to follow directions in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include organizing stations, ensuring freshness and storage of ingredients, plating, and maintaining cleanliness. You may assist with deliveries and collaborate with cooks, chefs, and other team members to maintain health

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs.
• Flexible availability including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Organize kitchen stations with the required equipment.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Wash, chop, shred, and grate ingredients as directed by management.
• Plate and garnish food items according to standards.
• Ensure dishes are presented attractively.
• Store food properly in cold storage.
• Monitor inventory and restock items as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen at all times.
• Help with washing dishes and storing them in appropriate locations.
• Assist kitchen assistants, cooks, chefs, and other team members.
• Report any kitchen issues or incidents to the Kitchen Manager.
• Help unload deliveries and organize supplies.
• Maintain all areas in accordance with health code standards.
• Follow all food hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
