Responsibilities

• Call current customers to complete the order entry process.
• Alert customers to operational, quality, or pricing concerns.
• Walk the warehouse to check product quality.
• Practice suggestive selling with customers using market data.
• Manage an independent book of accounts.
• Quote daily and/or weekly pricing to customers.
• Coordinate or write customer promotions.
• Communicate product information to Quality Control and Buying teams.
• Share pricing/quality intel with Sales and Buying teams.
• Perform basic math for pricing offers while meeting sales goals.
• Enter basic data into a computer system after training.
• Use Excel for basic calculations and formulas.
• Maintain a steady flow and speed handling multiple orders.
• Be competitive and drive base business growth.
• Set up and service new customers quickly and professionally.
• Make decisions independently in critical moments.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Be detail-oriented and responsible.
• Work holidays, weekends, and after hours as needed.
