Job summary

Dobbs Equipment, LLC seeks an Inside Sales Representative to sell, rent, and lease John Deere Compact Construction Equipment. You will identify new and dormant accounts to grow sales and revenue in the compact construction equipment segment, with emphasis on service and parts offerings.

The role requires strong communication, customer focus, and the ability to manage quotes and documentation. Training and product knowledge updates are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or a minimum of 1 year related experience is preferred, but not a requirement.
• Strong Communication Skills: persuasive and negotiation abilities; English fluency preferred.
• Customer Focus with ability to prioritize customer needs and deliver excellent service.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• PC literate with emphasis on Excel, Outlook and Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Sell John Deere Compact Construction Equipment and attachments to new and dormant accounts.
• Prospect dormant, new, and walk-in accounts to drive equipment sales and revenue.
• Greet customers, listen to requirements, provide detailed information and recommendations.
• Make calls daily to identify leads and promote services including parts, service and sales.
• Follow up on leads and quotes within 24 hours and document activity in CRM/Dynamics.
• Provide demonstrations and machine walkarounds at the dealership.
• Attend training and sales meetings to stay current with equipment and technology.
