POOLCORP in Sterling Heights, MI is hiring an Inside Sales Associate to assist customers at the counter and over the phone by answering product questions, processing orders, and helping ensure a smooth sales and pickup experience.

You will build relationships, support showroom and warehouse tasks, and learn product lines while thriving in a fast-paced team environment. This role offers comprehensive benefits, a Monday–Friday schedule with some seasonal Saturdays, and opportunities for bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service attitude with daily customer interaction.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to move products up to 100 lbs with dolly.
• Preferred: 1+ years inside sales and familiarity with pool supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assists walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.
• Accurately enters sales orders, generates invoices, and processes payments or credit authorizations.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.
• Evaluates warranty items and informs customers per policy.
• Provides an estimated delivery date based on vendor schedules.
• Pulls, stages, and distributes customer orders; occasional RF scanner use.
• Restocks showroom merchandise and supports warehouse duties.
