Job summary

LA Kings is seeking an Account Executive, Group Sales who will sell group tickets to businesses and community groups, develop relationships, and drive revenue through outbound calls, meetings, emails, and events.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience, a BA/BS degree, and strong customer service, presentation, and CRM skills; you’ll work regular office hours and event hours, including evenings and weekends, in a fast-paced sports environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 2–4 years related experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; able to learn business systems.
• Experience with ticketing/CRM software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate group ticket revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face-to-face appointments, arena tours, prospecting, and networking.
• Manage accounts to exceed sales goals; conduct high volumes of new business calls daily.
• Plan, develop, and execute strategic group sales promotions and theme nights for niche groups or communities.
• Prospect to generate new business relationships and host client meetings and presentations.
• Provide prompt, thorough, and courteous responses to all inquiries; maintain high level of customer service.
• Perform game-day responsibilities, including entertaining clients and working ticket sales booths.
• Attend events to maximize sales opportunities and provide sales reports to management.
