Njswim, a premier aquatic education brand, seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations in a dynamic, kid-focused environment in Florham Park, NJ. You will work both in and out of the pool, directly managing teams and ensuring exceptional experiences for families and staff.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate college degree; 5 years of relevant leadership/work experience may be considered.
• 2–3 years of management experience overseeing a department/division/site/team.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and empower a team.
• Genuine love for teaching children.
• Ability to recognize problems and resolve them on the spot.
• Excellent customer service skills - it must be natural for you to want to say "yes!".
• Ability to set goals, create plans and convert plans into action.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, coaching, leading and inspiring a team in aquatics and customer service.
• Drive exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction; lead frontline shifts and through team enhancement and development.
• Calmly, positively and proactively respond to challenges.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Master our teaching curriculum and customer service practices.
• Create a caring, fun, friendly and effective work environment.
• Create and manage schedules and lead regular team meetings.
• Manage employee engagement and retention.
• Develop operations team to be industry leaders.
• Directly manage key performance indicators to ensure the location is operating efficiently and effectively.
