SafeSplash Swim Schools in Oceanside, NY is seeking a General Manager to lead a diverse team, oversee 4-wall swim school operations, and grow enrollment while protecting profitability. You will manage aquatics programs, ensure a safe, clean environment, deliver a world-class customer experience, and strengthen community presence.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and requires 40+ hours weekly, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of management experience leading large teams.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while taking initiative.
• Must lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Class Scheduling and staffing to meet demand.
• Risk Management and Compliance with safety codes and employment law.
• Facilities upkeep for pool, pump room, and brand standards.
• Promote safety culture and QA standards across the team.
• Leverage financial data to drive revenue and profitability.
• Labor utilization optimization and class mix.
• Budget monitoring to balance brand standards and financial outcomes.
• Recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
