Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Lake Ridge seeks a General Manager to lead and motivate a high-performing team, coordinate class schedules, and ensure every lesson runs smoothly with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

You will train staff, guide new team members and families through their first days, and drive enrollment while upholding the company’s core values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience and a passion for coaching young adults.
• Sales and/or membership sales and retention skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures for the school.
• This position maintains a set schedule Saturday-Wednesday (closed Thursday/Friday).

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive staff culture from day 1 with open, honest communication in a positive and nurturing environment.
• Train a team that provides the same quality work and upholds Goldfish Swim School’s core values.
• Do the right things, making the right decisions and treating people with integrity and trust.
• Understand and lead daily operations to ensure the school runs per SOPs.
• Provide training to staff and stay on track with enrollment goals and related metrics.
