Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities is seeking an energetic Activities Support Staff member to assist with a variety of events, from concerts to banquets. In this role you will help with setup, guest assistance, and ensuring a smooth guest experience across indoor and outdoor venues in Arizona.

Evenings, weekends and holidays may be required; you should be able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and work as part of a team under an event manager to deliver safe, high‑quality events.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills: strong communication with guests and team.
• Physical stamina to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations.
• Attention to detail to ensure setups meet standards.
• Teamwork to collaborate with staff on event goals.
• Arizona Safe Food Handler Certificate and Title 4 Alcohol Certification (or within 15 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Setup and breakdown of event venues including chairs, tables, stages and A/V equipment.
• Guest services and cashiering as needed to support events.
• Logistical support under the event manager to manage registrations and ticketing.
• Ensure safety protocols, fire code compliance and emergency procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and address attendee questions.
• Flexibility to cross-train for cashier, bar back, ticket taking, and serving.
