Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities is seeking an Activities Support Staff member for upcoming seasonal events in our Arizona sites. You will help plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of activities from dances and concerts to trivia and vendor shows.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills and clear communication with guests and team.
• Must stand for long periods and be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Able to quickly adapt to changing event needs and solve problems.
• Meticulous in setting up venues to standard specs.
• Collaborative and able to work with staff and volunteers.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office and Canva preferred.
• Certificate in Food Handling and Title 4 Alcohol required or within 20 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate social and recreational events to engage residents.
• Assist in organizing dances, concerts, trivia, and other activities.
• Greet residents, sell event tickets, manage sign-ups, and answer questions.
• Provide front desk/office support and help organize the office.
• Create and post event flyers and update community calendars.
• Assist registrations, ticketing, and cashiering under the events manager.
• Handle scheduling, advertising, inventory, and budget adherence for events.
• Set up venues with chairs, tables, stages, and A/V; breakdown after events.
• Gather resident feedback to improve future events.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure safe and inclusive activities.
