Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dedicated early childhood education professional to design classrooms and learning centers aligned with curriculum and children’s interests. You will supervise daily activities, screen and assess children, and develop individualized lesson plans within required timeframes.

The role requires knowledge of Head Start standards, strong communication with families and staff, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related area.
• Minimum: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related area with six months of experience.
• Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards and regulatory environment.
• Strong oral and written communication with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and set up classrooms and learning centers based on curriculum and children's interests.
• Provide daily supervision of children during all activities.
• Screen and assess children using agency instruments with timely referrals when needed.
• Develop bi-weekly lesson plans aligned to curriculum and assessments.
• Maintain attendance records and education files for each child.
• Implement classroom management to support positive behavior.
• Prepare and update development records and communicate with families.
