Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Home Educator to work with Head Start families in their homes, promoting positive parent-child interactions and development-centered parenting. You will assess needs, set goals, and connect families with resources to support children's school readiness and wellbeing.

The role requires a CDA or higher in Early Childhood-related field, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 40 pounds, and willingness to travel extensively within the service area.

Qualifications

• Minimum home-based CDA credential or equivalent coursework
• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or related field preferred
• Willing to complete additional required training within 18 months

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head Start families to promote positive parent-child interactions and family wellbeing
• Visit families weekly and document activities and progress
• Assist families with eligibility enrollment and resources for screenings
• Coach parents in observation and developmentally appropriate practices
• Support IFSP/IEP goals and planning with families
• Travel within service area and follow safety guidelines
