Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an assistant to support classroom setup, supervision, and developmentally appropriate activities. You will help implement lesson plans, conduct screenings, and maintain records across learning domains.

The role involves daily attendance, CPI assessments three times per year, and referrals for concerns. Experience in Head Start environments and knowledge of education regulations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Associate Degree in Child Development or related field with one year of demonstrated experience.
• Minimum: Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification with six months of demonstrated experience.
• Strong knowledge of Early Childhood Development theories and Head Start regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and setting up classrooms and learning centers.
• Provide constant supervision of children during activities, indoors and outdoors.
• Conduct activities in the absence of an assigned teacher.
• Assist with weekly and bi-weekly lesson plans (IEP/ISFP based).
• Record attendance daily and maintain education records.
• Support family-style meal service and meal counts.
• Maintain positive behavior management and record observations.
