Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Round Rock, TX seeks an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and performance, and ensure safe, efficient service. You will drive guest satisfaction, manage inventory and payroll, and implement local marketing plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies preferred in business or restaurant management.
• Minimum two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred); capable of running shifts without supervision.
• Willingness to work a minimum 5-day week with irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of federal/state labor laws and local health/sanitation regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to multi-task and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, coach, and monitor Crew, Carhops and Supervisors.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards.
• Open/close the restaurant and prepare staff schedules.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within cost controls.
• Maintain payroll and employment records; develop action plans for sales trends.
• Develop and implement marketing plans and report operational results.
• Interview and hire staff to achieve proper staffing levels.
