Placements24 is seeking a proactive Dispatch Coordinator to manage outbound logistics from our Upington facility. You will coordinate with carriers, prepare shipping docs, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The role requires excellent organization, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in logistics and proficiency with logistics software are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, logistics or transportation coordination.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures and carrier operations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily dispatch of outbound shipments to ensure timely processing.
• Liaise with transportation providers to book carriers and confirm pickup/delivery schedules.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation including invoices and waybills.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed and staged for dispatch.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to stakeholders and customers.
• Resolve issues or delays during the dispatch process.
