Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center is seeking a Desktop Analyst to join our IT team in New York. You will deliver desktop and network support, install and configure operating systems, manage accounts, and resolve user issues to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of desktop support experience, familiarity with Windows and macOS, and strong communication skills. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and a valid driver's license, with occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

1+ years of professional desktop support experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work at tall heights.

Responsibilities

Provide desktop hardware and software support.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and applications.
Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions.
Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolutions to technical issues.
Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.
Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance of desktop systems.
Assist with procurement and inventory management of desktop equipment and software.
Document and maintain accurate records of support activities and resolutions.
