Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness required.
• Preferred: 1+ years in dental/medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: answer phones, mail/email, and communications with patients and insurance.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records; coordinate appointments across multiple providers.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; file insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable; discuss treatment plan fees and payment options.
• Partner with clinicians to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office potential.
