Job summary

Ridge Pike Dental Care, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Receptionist to greet patients, manage front desk duties, and coordinate scheduling. The role uses Dentrix for appointments and records, handles insurance claims, and processes payments.

You will discuss treatment options with patients and support the office team to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient experiences. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.
• 1+ year of dental/medical office experience.
• Dentrix or dental software experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: answer phones, mail, emails, and communications with patients/insurers.
• Schedule/confirm appointments for multiple providers using Dentrix.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Post payments and manage accounts receivable; discuss treatment plan fees with patients.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office performance.
