Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead a 20–30 person hourly team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. You will hire, coach, assess performance, and manage daily operations to ensure safe, accurate handling of merchandise.

You will implement team goals, develop personnel, and monitor key metrics to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost control. Strong leadership and WMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a related field.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and relocate if required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an hourly distribution team to meet safety and productivity targets.
• Ensure all operations procedures are followed and drive process improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor key metrics like productivity and quality.
• Plan staffing aligned with the business plan and coordinate with management.
