Job summary

Cherry Creek School District seeks a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. You will work with parents, students, and staff to promote quality programming and community relations.

The role includes supervising students, ensuring safety, and contributing to lesson plans and enrichment activities in a licensed before/after school setting.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Leader must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work with children.
• 15 clock hours of training yearly (June 1–May 31).
• CPR/First Aid Certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist the program director to plan and implement the child care program.
• Develop and promote good community relations among community and school clientele.
• Assist director and/or assistant director to prepare and implement quality programming.
• Follow and enforce licensing requirements.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during program hours.
• Plan activities and field trips for full day programming.
