Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a dedicated Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. You will help cultivate positive relations with families and the school community while ensuring safe, engaging activities for students.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must be age 18 or over.
• Demonstrate ability to work with children.
• 3 months (455 hours) verified childcare experience or Level I credential.
• 15 clock hours of training per year (June 1–May 31).
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist program director to plan and implement the child care program.
• Develop and promote good community relations with school and families.
• Supervise students during program hours and engage with them.
• Maintain safe conditions for students and staff.
• Promote and market the before/after care program and full-day programming.
• Attend required professional development trainings.
• Contribute to quality lesson plans and program enrichment activities.
• Organize field trips and activities for full-day programming.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
