Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar, restaurant or nightclub preferred.
• General wine, beer and liquor knowledge preferred.
• Must obtain Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, BBP and other required trainings.
• Excellent guest service skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to guests.
• Answers menu questions posed by guests.
• Maintains knowledge of beverages and offerings.
• Upsells to premium wine, beer and spirits.
• Observes guest behavior for signs of intoxication.
• Provides attentive, friendly and professional service to guests.
• May assist as server assistant to ensure timely serving.
• Ensures quality and presentation meet guest expectations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
