Job summary

Gila River Resorts & Casinos in Chandler, AZ seeks a beverage service associate to deliver fast, friendly guest experiences in a high-volume casino environment. You will greet guests, answer beverage questions, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of drinks and menu items.

Responsibilities include accurately recording sales in the POS, processing payments, and presenting a polished appearance while upholding the GILA WAY.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume bar/restaurant/nightclub preferred.
• In-depth wine and alcohol knowledge preferred.
• Must acquire and maintain Health Card, Alcohol Awareness, BBP and other trainings.
• Ability to deliver excellent guest service with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to guests.
• Answers menu or beverage questions posed by guests.
• Maintains knowledge of the dining or beverage menu and specials.
• Observes guests, anticipates needs and completes service steps.
• Delivers quick, attentive, professional service in a casino environment.
• Accurately records all sales in the POS system.
• Ensures and collects appropriate guest payment for beverage service.
• Maintains a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
• Communicates in a positive, respectful manner to guests and team.
• Educates guests on new technologies on the floor.
• Sells in a fast-paced environment using various sales tactics.
• Builds knowledge of offerings to answer questions accurately.
• Maintains dependable attendance with minimal lateness.
• Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
