Qualifications

• 1+ year serving in a high-volume setting; live entertainment/bar experience preferred.
• Unexpired Food Handlers and TABC certifications or obtain upon hire.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer; able to upsell cocktails.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Clear English communication with guests and colleagues.
• Accurate data entry in MICROS.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in fast-paced environment.
• Team player who collaborates with coworkers across departments.
• Strong guest request prioritization and follow-up.
• Excellent service, recovery, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, provide superior customer service, and upsell beverage options.
• Take orders, answer questions, and suggest menu items.
• Communicate dietary needs and special requests to kitchen.
• Record transactions in MICROS and maintain cash handling standards.
• Ensure accurate checks and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and assist with station setup.
• Protect hotel liability by preventing overserving; adhere to standards.
