GPM Investments in Lowell, MI is hiring an Assistant Manager for Store 5759. The role requires leading operations, customer service excellence, and team development on open two to three shifts with weekend and holiday availability.

You will support the Store Manager, handle register duties, coach staff on upsell opportunities, and manage hiring, training, and scheduling. This fast-paced role also covers inventory control, store cleanliness, and daily cash handling.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance for deposits.
• Minimum age 18+ years.
• Proficient in English with basic math.
• Food Safety Certification must be obtained or in place.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
