Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Leasing Associate to handle leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a property in Denton, TX. You will sign leases, manage applications, show apartments, and ensure a seamless move-in process while promoting resident retention.

Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, qualifying prospects, processing applications with credit checks, and maintaining a social media presence to boost visibility.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Property Management Software.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from residents and prospects to schedule tours (virtual, self-guided, in-person).
• Qualify prospects and assist with applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Process applications with credit checks and rental history verification and submit for processing.
• Collaborate with Community Manager to follow up on applicant status.
• Show apartments, close sales, prepare move-ins, and obtain signatures on leases.
• Maintain an active social media presence to boost visibility and engagement.
• Address complaints and service requests promptly to promote resident satisfaction and retention.
• Close sales: make appointments, generate leads, conduct tours, and manage follow-ups.
• Use marketing strategies within budget to drive traffic (rates, referrals, promotions, locators, outreach).
• Represent the community positively to meet objectives and public recognition.
• Plan resident functions and attend after-hours events as host as needed.
• Complete lease/move-in paperwork in a timely manner.
• Attend weekly and daily goal-setting meetings.
• Coordinate with maintenance for timely service requests.
