New York Edge is seeking an After School Program Director to lead the growth, quality, and success of the assigned program, its students, and staff. In this full-time role, you will ensure quality standards, meet contract requirements, and foster a fun, learning-focused environment through sports and arts activities that promote teamwork and sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field (Education/ Psychology/ Social Work).
• Minimum 3 years in urban education or youth development with supervisory experience.
• Experience with NYC youth and programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program staff, operations, and services to meet established timelines and contracts.
• Conduct staff evaluations and development plans with Program Manager and HR.
• Lead weekly team meetings to discuss classroom management, lesson planning, and SEL.
• Coordinate community outreach to recruit participants and partners.
• Prepare attendance, activities, reports, and program content for internal/external use.
• Provide weekly supervision with feedback and goal setting.
