Job summary

New York Edge is seeking a mission-driven After School Program Director to lead the day-to-day operations of an assigned program site in New York City public schools. The position is full-time and requires in-person work Monday through Friday with site-specific schedules. Salary ranges from $58,500 to $62,500, commensurate with experience and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, education/psychology/social work preferred.
• 3+ years urban education/youth development supervisory experience.
• Experience with program staff supervision and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees program staff, operations, and ensures compliance with standards and contracts.
• Conducts staff evaluations and development plans with Program Manager and HR.
• Provides weekly team meetings and coordinates outreach to recruit participants.
