Job summary

Madera Community College is seeking an Accounting Instructor as part of a part-time pool to teach accounting courses on campus and at other locations as needed. The instructor will use diverse teaching methods and technology to support student learning and success.

The role requires equity-minded leadership, collaboration with faculty and staff, and the ability to manage syllabi, grading, and records in accordance with district policies.

Qualifications

• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse backgrounds of community college students and equity-minded practice.
• Master’s in accountancy or business with accounting concentration; or equivalent.
• Valid California Community College Credential or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Teaching a part-time schedule of Accounting courses as assigned.
• Utilizing varied pedagogies and technologies for F2F, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicating effectively with students, faculty and staff and maintaining records as required.

Education

Master's in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration

Bachelor's in business with accounting emphasis or economics with accounting emphasis and Master’s in business, business administration, business education, economics, taxation, finance or the equivalent

A valid California Community College Credential
