Vectra Bank Colorado is seeking an experienced Business Banker to provide top-notch customer service in the Durango, CO market. The role focuses on full-service banking for new and existing clients with emphasis on sales and service; prior business lending experience is a plus.

You’ll grow a small commercial portfolio, visit clients regularly, and act as a trusted advisor to meet financial goals while hitting revenue targets and enhancing deposits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in banking, finance or related field required with 1+ year of lending or related experience.
• Knowledge of lending and credit analysis preferred in commercial lending.
• Ability to expand loans and client relationships while cross-selling bank products.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience with sales processes and closing.
• Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software; manage a small commercial portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Grow, retain and expand a portfolio of existing Business Banking clients.
• Source new customers through referrals and calls.
• Cross-sell banking products to drive deposit growth.
• Meet revenue goals for region and products.
• Learn client needs and develop relationship plans for each account.
• Visit client locations regularly to assess and fulfill requests.
• Provide trusted advisory solutions to meet client objectives.
• Coordinate with internal resources to meet client requests.
• Maintain knowledge of business and personal financial needs of clients.
• Achieve key metrics for portfolio growth, profitability, retention and satisfaction.
