Job summary

Vectra Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation, seeks an experienced Business Banker to manage and grow a commercial portfolio in the Denver Metro area. You will deliver full-service banking to new and existing clients, focusing on sales, service, and relationship-building to help clients achieve financial goals.

The role requires a four-year degree in banking or finance, 2+ years of lending experience, and strong credit analysis, sales and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in banking, finance or a related field and 2+ years commercial lending or other directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
• Working knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes.
• Ability to expand commercial loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.
• Requires solid sales ability.
• Solid experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills.
• Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
• Must have solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of a software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Manages a small to medium commercial portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Grow, retain and expand a portfolio of existing Business Banking clients.
• Sources new customers through referrals and cross-selling of banking products.
• Seek and obtain quality new business through client/prospect calls and referrals.
• Recommend appropriate solutions to meet client objectives as a trusted advisor.
• Meet assigned revenue goals for region and products.
• Gain knowledge of business and personal financial needs of assigned customers.
• Visit client locations regularly and develop a relationship plan for each client.
• Ensure client requests are met directly or via appropriate resource.
• Meet or exceed key performance metrics for portfolio growth, revenue and customer satisfaction.
