Job summary

Windsor Communities is seeking a Dual-Site Apartment Service Tech II for Glass House by Windsor and Windsor Turtle Creek in Dallas, TX. The role requires at least 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience and strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry skills.

Rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency response is required. You will perform repairs in apartments and common areas, use property management software to maintain records and complete work

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in multifamily residential or hotel maintenance.
• Experience with building safety systems including fire systems (sprinklers/alarms).
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software; maintain records and complete work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs across apartment homes and common areas.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Diagnose, repair, and implement preventative maintenance measures.

Dual-Site Apartment Service Tech II | Glass House by Windsor and Windsor Turtle Creek - Dallas, TX

Glass House by Windsor is a high-rise apartment community with 375 units.

Windsor Turtle Creek is a mid-rise style apartment community with 207 units.

Summary

Successful Service Technicians can come from a variety of backgrounds including apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel, general building maintenance, and work order management. Must have intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. Must be available to be part of a rotating on call schedule for after hours and weekend emergency response. For the fifth year in a row, Windsor Communities is the recipient of the 2025 Kingsley Excellence Award achieving the top award for Overall Customer Service.

Compensation

Hourly: Starting at $22.70 - $28.38 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location. Annual Starting Comp: $47,216 - $59,030.

Skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance
• Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms)
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion
• Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools
• Support the company’s values and cultures by providing exceptional service to teammates and residents
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas

Requirements

• Site specific certifications such as:
• EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations
