Job summary

Windsor Fitzhugh in Dallas, TX seeks a Service Tech II to maintain and repair equipment across apartment communities. The role requires intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting and carpentry skills, plus a willingness to participate in rotating after-hours on-call.

You will work with smart devices and property management software to keep accurate records and complete work orders, with opportunities for housing discounts, vacation time, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance.
• Familiarity with building safety systems including fire systems (sprinklers/alarms).
• Ability to use smart devices and PM software for records and work orders.
• Advanced knowledge of hand and basic power tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures across apartments and common areas.
• Support maintenance of mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliances.
• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergencies.

Service Tech II | Windsor Fitzhugh - Dallas, TX

Windsor Fitzhugh is a mid-rise style apartment community with 364 units.

Summary

Successful Service Technicians can come from a variety of backgrounds including apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel, general building maintenance, and work order management. Must have intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. Must be available to be part of a rotating on call schedule for after hours and weekend emergency response.

Compensation

Our company considers a range of factors including education and experience when determining base compensation.

Hourly: Starting at $21.02 - $26.28 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location. Annual Starting Comp: $43,721 - $54,662.

Your Skills

Requirements

• Site specific certifications such as:
  • EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations.
