Job summary

Standard Bent Glass, East Butler, PA, is seeking DTG & Tempering Operators to join our manufacturing team. This role supports the production of specialty glass products through Direct-to-Glass printing and glass tempering processes.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and comfortable in a hands-on environment. High school diploma preferred; experience is not required, and we offer training, overtime, and opportunities to grow.

DTG & Tempering Operator

Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Standard Bent Glass is looking for DTG & Tempering Operators to join our manufacturing team. This position supports the production of specialty glass products through Direct-to-Glass (DTG) printing and glass tempering processes . The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Operate and assist with equipment used in DTG printing and glass tempering processes.
• Prepare and handle glass and materials for production.
• Follow work instructions, production specifications, and established procedures.
• Monitor products throughout the production process to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Inspect glass for printing, dimensional, visual, or other quality concerns and report issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Safely handle and position glass throughout the manufacturing process.
• Monitor equipment and processes and communicate any problems or abnormalities.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with Production and Quality to meet production and quality goals.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, glass, printing, or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required .
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to learn equipment, processes, and production procedures.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work the assigned shift and overtime as needed.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $19.00/hour + $2.00/hour 2nd Shift Differential

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday–Thursday

Friday overtime may be required based on production needs.
