Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking a Manufacturing Lead - Line for the 1st shift (6:30 AM-3:00 PM). You will lead on the production floor, ensure product quality, meet customer specs, and drive efficiency. You will train new hires, coordinate tasks, and step in for supervisors when needed.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in manufacturing, and English proficiency; Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Competent in computers and office software.
Ability to multitask.
Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor, guide, and motivate staff to perform at their best.
Demonstrate job instructions to new and temporary staff, adhering to departmental expectations when not performing these duties.
Evaluate incoming orders and set up the production line accordingly.
Collaborate and communicate within the department, extending communication to multiple departments within the organization.
Foster an environment of positive morale and high-performance expectations.
Regroup associates within assigned areas to maximize team members' strengths.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members.
Identify and report/resolve production line problems promptly.
Maintain a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
