1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to support the Department Supervisor in our production warehouse, ensuring efficient, high-quality gift fulfillment for customers.

On the 1st shift (6:30 AM–3:00 PM), you will monitor department performance, assist with training, and help maintain safety, attendance, and punctuality while driving continuous improvements in output and accuracy. Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily department efficiencies using reports, calculations, and tracking data
• Inspect and distribute picked materials to production lines and personnel
• Continuously monitor order backlog, with a focus on express orders
• Operate department-specific production equipment as needed
• Ensure equipment settings are accurate and aligned with production needs
• Guide and support POC’s and production staff to meet required output levels
• Perform routine maintenance and assist in diagnosing and repairing equipment issues
• Report safety concerns, policy violations, and quality issues to the Department Supervisor
• Assist with training, onboarding, and staff adjustments
• Promote a positive work environment with high morale and performance expectations
• Maintain strong attendance and punctuality
• Perform additional department-specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
