Job summary

Personalization Mall in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Lead - Line to guide a production team, ensure product quality, and meet customer specifications. You will lead on the floor, delegate tasks, train new hires, and step in for supervisors when needed.

1st Shift 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with peak schedule variability. Candidates should have at least 1 year manufacturing experience, strong communication, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and fluency in English (Spanish preferred).

Job description

As a Manufacturing Lead - Line, you play a crucial role as a lead figure in the department, bridging information from supervisors and upper management to your team. Operating in larger departments and acting as a lead/delegator on the production floor, your focus is on ensuring product quality, meeting customer specifications, and consistently achieving efficiency and productivity targets. In addition to providing hands‑on direction to associates, you coordinate tasks, demonstrate job instructions to new hires, and occasionally step in for Assistant Supervisors and Supervisors.

1st Shift Between: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor, guide, and motivate staff to perform at their best.
• Demonstrate job instructions to new and temporary staff, adhering to departmental expectations when not performing these duties.
• Evaluate incoming orders and set up the production line accordingly.
• Collaborate and communicate within the department, extending communication to multiple departments within the organization.
• Foster an environment of positive morale and high-performance expectations.
• Regroup associates within assigned areas to maximize team members' strengths.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members.
• Identify and report/resolve production line problems promptly.
• Maintain a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.

The expected salary range for this position is $17.50 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
