Job summary

1-800-Flowers Family of Brands is seeking a Manufacturing Lead — Line to guide day-to-day operations on the production floor, ensure product quality, and meet customer specifications.

This role involves supervising staff, coordinating tasks, training new hires, and collaborating with supervisors and other departments to uphold safety, efficiency, and on-time output. The position is on the 1st shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) with flexibility during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, guide, and motivate staff to perform at a high level
• Demonstrate job instructions to new and temporary staff
• Evaluate incoming orders and set up production lines accordingly
• Collaborate and communicate within the department and across multiple departments
• Foster a positive work environment with high morale and performance expectations
• Reassign and regroup associates within assigned areas to maximize team strengths
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving production line issues
• Maintain a safe, clean, and fully operational work environment
