Job summary

Reedley College seeks a Counselor/Coordinator for the Disabled Student Programs & Services (DSPS). The role is full-time and categorically funded, starting 10/01/2026, with an equity-driven approach to student success through collaboration with faculty, staff, students and community partners.

The position requires counseling, accommodation coordination, and support services within the DSPS program, including developing AAPs/SEPs, coordinating accommodations, and advising on transfer and degree

Qualifications

• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse backgrounds and equity-minded practice in students' education.
• Experience in counseling for students with disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, accommodation and support services through the DSP&S program.
• Develop and revise Academic Accommodation Plans (AAPs) and Student Educational Plans (SEPs).
• Coordinate testing accommodations, note taking, alternate media, ASL interpretation and other supports.
• Collaborate with college staff to support enrollment, matriculation and onboarding.
• Monitor student progress toward degree objectives and effective use of services.
• Maintain confidential records and complete mandated reports.
• Participate in professional development and department committees.
• Assist with budget planning and reports as needed.
