Job summary

Reedley College, part of the SCCCD system, seeks a Counselor/Coordinator for Disabled Student Programs & Services (DSPS). The role focuses on delivering comprehensive counseling, accommodations, and supportive resources to students with disabilities, while aligning services with equity and student-success goals.

Qualifications

• Experience providing counseling or support services to diverse student populations.
• Ability to develop and monitor accommodation plans and education plans.
• Familiarity with higher education processes, including enrollment, matriculation, and transfer planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and support services to DSPS students, including accommodation coordination.
• Develop and revise Academic Accommodation Plans (AAPs) and Student Educational Plans (SEPs).
• Coordinate testing accommodations, note-taking, alternate media, and interpreters as needed.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners to support student success.
• Monitor students’ academic progress and alignment with degree objectives using appropriate tools.
• Maintain confidential records and accurate data for mandated reporting.
