Zusammenfassung

Reedley College seeks a part‑time DSP&S Instructor to develop and implement Developmental Services curricula aligned with approved outlines and to provide specialized instruction for students with disabilities.

The role includes monitoring student progress, assessing learning outcomes, maintaining confidential records, and collaborating with counselors and college staff to support students’ educational goals. Some evenings and Saturdays may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in disability, special education, psychology, educational psychology, or rehabilitation counseling.
• 15 semester units in disability areas (learning, developmental, deaf/HH, physical disabilities, or adapted tech).
• California Community College Credential.
• Equivalency accepted when required.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement Developmental Services course curriculum aligned with the course outline of record.
• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities.
• Monitor and track students’ academic performance per campus guidelines.
• Assess student learning objectives to improve outcomes for each course.
• Maintain confidential records and complete mandated reports and service data.
• Advocate for students with disabilities and collaborate with counselors and staff.

Ausbildung

Master’s degree in disability, special education, psychology, educational psychology, or rehabilitation counseling

Fifteen (15) semester units in disability-related areas

California Community College Credential

Equivalent education and/or experience (equivalency)
