Work Opportunities Unlimited in Belmont, NH is seeking a DSP/Work & Community Support Specialist. This role engages individuals in work, recreation, and activities to promote independence and a preferred lifestyle within the community.

A typical day includes on-site long-term job support, coaching for workplace success, and helping individuals participate in activities to build self-advocacy. Travel in the local area is required with mileage reimbursement.

Competenze

• Experience in high-touch customer service environments.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the local community.
• Comfortable documenting notes in an electronic system and using mobile apps.

DSP/Work & Community Support Specialists (known internally as a Career Resource Specialist)

engage individuals in work, recreation, and other personal activities that promote living a preferred lifestyle in their community. Work & Community Support gives the individual the opportunity to participate in activities that will put them on a path to independence.

A typical day might include the following:

• Provide long-term, on-site, job support for the duration of an individual's employment
• Serve as their coach and advocate to foster success in the workplace
• Support their participation in volunteer and/or other recreational activities to help develop self-advocacy, independent living and communication skills
• Engage in daily community-based travel, providing transportation as you actively accompany individuals to work, volunteer and community sites to build their path to independence. (mileage reimbursement provided)

• Valid driver's license and comfortable traveling within your local community
• Monday - Friday, daytime business hours (flexibility offered for part-time)
• Comfortable using MS Office, documenting notes in an electronic system, and accessing apps on a mobile device

Pay: $19-$21 per hour
