Job summary

Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional Trainer to support the development and success of Direct Support Professionals across our programs. The DSP Trainer delivers ongoing skills development, offers coaching, and ensures learning translates into daily practice while upholding state regulations and organizational standards.

Based in Seneca County with 35 hours per week and evening/overnight shifts, this role requires at least 3 years of DSP experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a DSP or in a similar IDD role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LMS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ongoing skills development opportunities for DSPs.
• Coach, mentor, and provide real-time feedback.
• Maintain training records and certification requirements.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through observation and outcomes.
