Mozaic, a Chapter of The Arc NY, seeks a full-time DSP Trainer to develop and support Direct Support Professionals. You will translate classroom learning into practical on-the-job skills, provide coaching, and maintain training records to ensure compliance with state and federal standards.

Location is Seneca County with a 35-hour workweek, primarily evenings and overnights. A high school diploma is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred, plus 3 years’ DSP/IDD experience and

Qualifikationen

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years as a DSP or in IDD services; training/coaching experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to adapt training to diverse learners; proficient with MS Office and LMS.

Aufgaben

• Deliver ongoing DSP training and ensure transfer of classroom learning to daily work.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and real-time feedback to staff.
• Maintain training records and certifications; ensure compliance with state/federal requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors to identify training needs and measure outcomes.
