Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission, serving Texans at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center, is seeking a Direct Support Professional IV to coordinate campus shift activities, ensure staff coverage, and oversee care across homes and the infirmary.

This role requires strong leadership, the ability to respond to emergencies, coordinate scheduling, and coach staff. Morning, evening and night shifts are available; driving state vehicles may be required; telework is not eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate facility coverage and staff/individual ratios.
• Reassigns staff to maintain appropriate coverage and manage personnel issues.
• Documents incidents and issues for review and coordinates with administrators.
• Coaches staff on in-service training and ensures care and support activities are ongoing.
