Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is seeking a DSP IV – Campus/Shift Coordinator in Austin to lead direct support services at the Austin State Supported Living Center. This role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring quality care and a safe environment.

The ideal candidate will oversee shift activities, monitor facility operations, and ensure adequate staff coverage, while also providing staff training and responding to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Valid Texas driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift activities and monitor facility operations.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage and communicate staffing issues.
• Serve as the first responder for emergencies.
