Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings across the state. You will work one-on-one to help clients achieve daily living skills according to each ISP, promoting independence and meaningful participation.

The role offers flexible hours and a competitive $18–$24 per hour pay range, with local cases and a supportive team focused on successful outcomes.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
