Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one with clients, following each ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include supporting daily living activities, documentation, and building trusting relationships. The role offers flexible hours and hourly pay of $18–$24, with local cases and a supportive team to enable

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
