Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout the state. You will work one-on-one with individuals following each ISP, promoting independence and daily living skills.

The role offers $18–$24/hour with flexible hours and local NJ cases, supporting a DDD-focused team that values reliability and compassionate care. Training and ongoing supervision provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
